Eau Claire, Wisconsin -- In his first-ever feature race in a machine other than a kid kart, Austin overcame a minor first corner spin to drive a clean Yamaha Rookie finale, getter faster and more comfortable in the PCR cadet each lap and giving the leaders plenty of room to race for the win in the closing laps. A solid first-time effort for the kid kart national champion.
