Austin Kendig: Indy Karting Classic at Conseco Fieldhouse, December 11, 2011

Indianapolis, Indiana -- Overcoming a missed kart setup that resulted in a poor qualifying effort, Austin made up ground in his heat race before putting on a show in his feature race at the Indy Karting Classic. Racing on a ridiculously slick surface, he made the most of a very average kart, deftly weaving through traffic to bring home a second-place podium finish in the inaugural race, which later featured a win by his racing hero: Tony Stewart.
