This floor barre workout is a combination of pilates and ballet exercises designed for dancers to increase flexibility and strength, particularly in the hips for great ballet turn out. If you are an adult ballet beginner, this floor barre class is great for improving range of motion and strength so that you can improve your technique, all while having fun! This lesson also includes the basic ballet moves so that you can become familiar with the steps and how to do them. Great for at home training, this ballet inspired workout will work the full body including the core, legs and back. While this ballet pilates mat workout is perfect for dancers, it is also useful for gymnasts who are studying ballet for strength training and flexibility.
