Wagner Leitmotives - 35 - Sword

Leitmotives from Richard Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen (Ring Cycle). This leitmotif is known as “Sword“ from Das Rheingold (The Rhine Gold) which is first in the fourth scene. This leitmotif provides a foreshadowing of what Wotan plans on doing in the next opera, Die Walküre. It takes upon a more prominent role in Die Walküre.
