Wagner Leitmotives - 93 - Gibichungs

Leitmotives from Richard Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen (Ring Cycle). This leitmotif is known as “Gibichungs“ from Götterdämmerung which is first heard in the first act. This leitmotif should be a noble leitmotif as it represents a race which is ruled by their king, Gunther. However, it characterized as a weak leitmotif - perhaps because the Gibichungs are controlled so easily by the mastermind, Hagen.
