Fast oral scans using OCT

Optical coherence tomography allows a hand-held device to produce 3D maps of the inside of a matient’s mouth – including seeing through the teeth, into nerves and below the gumlines – without X-Ray radiation. It can also detect and map cavities at around 90% accuracy.
