Vorde (US) - Live at My Castle of Quiet, April, 29th 2015

Killer performance from Vorde at the legendary My Castle of Quiet radioshow, hosted by the eternal William Berger at WFMU radio. Often find this as a rather overlooked project from the House of the First Light. This excellent live session, like any at My Castle of Quiet, particularly heightens the feral energy of Vorde and the atmosphere they convey, with all occult elements and intricacies shining perfectly, with the Attila-ish vocals of Aziel coming thorough perfectly, the killer earth-shaking rhythm section, the eerie leads haunting the air, and of course the one and only Lam’s unique style of creating an eerie and absolutely engulfing wall of sound. The session closes with a brilliant, unreleased Wipers over, which only comes to solidify the Post-Punk influence present in their music, and would be motive enough to share this treasure. Highly encourage you to check the Bilirubin and Imperial Trumpet sessions as well if you haven’t. Vorde:
