I gotta say, I knew it was a great song from the unleashing in the chorus but until I had to learn the lyrics I never actually payed that much attention to them. This song is incredibly well written. I thought he was talking to the girl but he’s not. He’s talking to God saying “please don’t take the girl away“, the girl being the beautiful thing.
