Slavoj Žižek speaks to Oxford Union President Ebrahim Osman-Mowafy about atheism, why Trump was elected again, what the Democrats got wrong after the 2016 election and his issues with BRICS nations. Mr Žižek is a Slovenian Marxist philosopher, cultural theorist and writer. He is the International Director of the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities at the University of London. His work is mainly focussed on continental philosophy and political theory.
