HOMEBREW Dual Band 2m / 70cm vertical dipole BUILD #2 Part 1 of 4
I build a dual band vertical dipole without a choke expecting it won’t work and am surprised that it works just as well as the one with a choke.
The lengths, measured from the outside of the bottom bend, are:
6 1/4“ for the 70cm side
18 5/8“ for the 2m side
An even simpler, less expensive build is coming soon as well as an antenna building class for the local HAMS to build their own, permanent mount version.
