Home-made 7kg powerhammer

I build this powerhammer from stuff I had lying around the workshop. It works surprisingly well even though it is made mostly from wood. It still needs to be tuned a bit and should be bolted to the floor since it walks around. It can hit hot steel harder than I can and it can keep it up for longer. Total build time was about 100 hours over a period of 6 weeks. I do not know how long it will last under working conditions. It is now 1 February 2012, ask me again in 2 years time.
