Ukraine’s feared 3rd Assault Brigade fought fierce battles in the besieged city of Avdiivka to help their comrades escape being encircled by Russia and destroyed. Video taken by the brigade shows vicious street-to-street fighting at close quarters with the Russians, with the aim of breaking through the Russian lines and helping their brothers-in-arms get to safety.
