According to journalist Josep Capdevila, the Catalan club have had good reports on the young German striker for a couple of years. At the age of 17, Brunner is tall and a German U-17 international. He joined Dortmund’s youth academy in 2020 and this season has made the leap to the U-19 team, which he combines with the U-17s. He is a centre-forward with a nose for goal.
