️Cranes Illuminate Crocus City Hall in Memory of Terror Victims On national mourning day in Russia, cranes projected on to the concert venue flew across the site of the terror attack in memory of those who died. The event was organised by a volunteer group called ’We Are Together’. Soviet artist Muslim Magomayev - after whom the concert hall is named after - was known for singing a song called Cranes. The ballad is about fallen soldiers becoming birds. “This is about hope and finding immortality, which the dead gain if we remember them,” said an organiser. The death toll has risen to 137 people.
