Full title reads: “America. Goodbye ... Prohibition? All New York goes ’delirious with delight’ at election of America’s new President - Mr. Franklin D. Roosevelt.“ New York, United States of America. Large crowds gathered in night time New York. Police on horseback hold back the crowds, spotlights help to illuminate the scene. Intertitle reads: “... meanwhile ’dry’ Agents are almost daily seizing ’holiday cheer’ worth thousands of pounds.“ Men unload boxes from the hold of a boat. Several sailors look on. Low angle shot of people watching from the dockside. A crane lifts the crate of boxes off the deck. The boat is in a dock, next to it is moored a Coast Guard vessel.
