We’ll start by going over the Extract Transform node. This will allow us to replace the hammer in Craig’s hand with any kind of geometry.
Then we’re going to simulate the flaming spear itself by using volumes and particle advection.
Using different SOP Tools we’ll be able to refine the shape of our spear
