A fusion of Indian classical dance forms, depicting Saint Meera’s devotion to her Lord Krishna through evocative storytelling and rhythmic sounds of ghungroos. Performed to the IndianRaga Meera bhajan production ‘Mhara Re Giridhar Gopal’ in raga Miya Malhar, this recital offers a soulful contemplation of love through Kathak, Bharatanatyam and Odissi, blending in also charming stories from Lord Krishna’s life. There’s a free flow of fast paced movements between the three dance styles that complements the melody of the original track. Eshani Sathe (Kathak), Sonali Loomba (Kathak), Kirthana Bhat (Bharatnatyam), and Jeevika Bhat (Odissi) come together to perform this classical dance piece.
