Abwe or Güiro is one of the oldest ritual musical styles from Cuba, played with one tumbadora (conga drum), shekeres (gourd shakers) and a guataca (Hoe Blade). We are happy to present this modern rendition of “Orin a Eggun“ (prayers to the ancestors) performed by a young group of talented musicians Egbe Omo Ogun Bi that continue in the tradition with a modern sequence of songs with the upmost respect for the genre. This epidode completes the end of season 1 of #musicacotidiana. More to come on season 2 coming soon!. Please share and enjoy!
