This video shows how to model an axial fan in ANSYS Fluent. First, the steady-state model using the moving-reference-frame (MRF) method is demonstrated. Then the steady-state result was used to run the transient model using the sliding mesh method. The main important steps for modeling setup in ANSYS Fluent are outlined.
