ASAKE 02 ACADEMY BRIXTON LONDON | HIGHLIGHTS

Asake studied Theatre & Performing Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state. Although, he had been releasing music since 2018, his musical career progressed further in 2020 when he released the single “Mr. Money“. A remix with Zlatan and Peruzzi followed. He broke out in the industry when he dropped the 2020 single, Lady. He rose to stardom after being signed to YBNL Records by the label boss, Olamide(Badoo) on February 2022. In February 2022, Asake released his debut extended play Ololade, which featured Asake’s breakthrough song “Omo Ope” featuring Olamide. Another hit-single which was released off the extended play is “Sungba” which was remixed a month later with a verse from Nigerian artist Burna Boy.
