Giedrius Kuprevičius Prezidento maršas

„Prezidento maršas“ gimė ne kaip dedikacija konkrečiam prezidentui, bet kaip pagarba valstybės institucijai, kurią atstovaujantis Prezidentas yra svarbiausių tos valstybės gyvybingumo sudedamųjų garantas. Todėl, sekdamas senųjų dailės, poezijos, muzikos meistrų tradicija, įpyniau į Maršo muziką raktinių lietuviškų muzikos kūrinių intonacijas – jos klipe parodytos atitinkamose kūrinio vietose natomis. O pabaigoje – Maršo autoriaus asmeninis muzikinis parašas – tokius mėgo savo darbuose ir mano paminėti menininkai pirmtakai. Dėkoju JE Prezidentui Gitanui Nausėdai, pakvietusiam koncertui su mano dainomis inauguracijos priėmime, paskatinusiam ir „Prezidento maršo“ gimimą. The “President’s March“ was born not as a dedication to a particular president, but as a tribute to the state institution, which the President represents is the guarantor of the most important components of the State’s vitality. Therefore, following the tradition of the old masters of art, poetry, and music, I interwoven the intonations of key Lithuanian musical works into March’s music - they are shown in the music clip in the corresponding sheet of the piece. And at the end - the personal musical signature of the author of the march - the predecessors of the artists I mentioned also liked these in their works. I would like to thank JE President Gitanas Nausėda, who invited me to a concert with my songs at the inauguration reception, which encouraged the birth of the “President’s March“.
