Part forty-six of Hainan Television’s weekly culture/travel programme hosted by yours-truly shown nationwide on Hainan’s satellite channel in a prime-time slot just after the seven o’clock evening news broadcast. This week I stop by Hainan’s Changjiang Li Autonomous County to take in the kapok flowers. Also known as silk-cotton flowers, they draw tourists from all over the country every spring.
