http://instagram/theps22chorus Music is the ultimate healer, and this song was certainly a key part of the healing process for us here at PS22, and remains so as the emotional burden of the pandemic continues to take its toll on us all. In both the chorus and the classroom, this song has led to powerful discussions on how important it is to reach out to those people we can count on when hopelessness and despair take over. We also touched upon how music and the arts have that unique quality of being able to transform a seething pain into dazzling beauty. Case in point, this gut-wrenching rendition of “SOS“ by @Sneaker Pimps, from their album “Squaring The Circle,“ probably my favorite of 2021! P.S.
