“I wanted to step back from the traditional format of conceptual or performative music videos – I’ve been directing the last few with my partner and it’s been a really fulfilling exercise in unhinged creative expression haha. For me, there was too much to say about each song, and about each participating artist, that condensing it into a 3minute narrative felt wrong. It felt nice, to not only shine a light on Ivy and Amethyst as amazing artists and collaborators, but piece that together with some rawness from my own creative process.
