Count Basie plays the “One O’Clock Jump,“ from the Columbia film, “Reveille with Beverly,“ starring Ann Miller. Solos are by Buddy Tate and Don Byas on tenor saxophones, Dickie Wells on trombone, Buck Clayton on trumpet, and Vernon Alley on bass. The classic, definitive version of this ’head’ arrangement, I think.
