Bodycam Shows Police Rescue Baby Being Murdered By Mom

This is the moment bodycam footage shows police rescuing a baby from her mother who was allegedly trying to murder her. At around 10:30am on June 24th 2023, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a distressed teen stating that her mother was trying to kill her brothers & sisters. Police were patrolling close by to the scene on Bluestem Court in Albion, Michigan & arrived just moments after the call was placed. When they arrived, 35 year old Jessica Edward-Ricks was spotted allegedly drowning her 2 year old daughter after stabbing her twice.
