Three Torinis (1953)

Battersea Park, London. At London’s Festival Gardens we see various shots of Dutch aerial acrobatic act the Three Torinis doing their stuff. The main part of the act involves the youngest girl, 17-year-old Ann, teetering on the top of a very high pole, while the other two, Do and Leo, ride around a circular ring on a motorcycle some way down the pole (though still very high up!). Several shots of people watching from the gardens below. At the end of the act, the three performers slide down a wire to the ground. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
