Suella Braverman sacked: Watch who enters Downing Street

Suella Braverman has been sacked as Home Secretary as Rishi Sunak begins a reshuffle of his Cabinet. A government spokesman said on Monday morning: “Rishi Sunak has asked Suella Braverman to leave government and she has accepted.” Mrs Braverman said: “It has been the greatest privilege of my life to serve as Home Secretary. I will have more to say in due course.” The Home Secretary’s position had been under pressure since last week when she wrote an unauthorised article in which she criticised the Metropolitan Police for a “double standard” over their handling of protests.
