Weeki Wachee Mermaid descending though "the tube."

A Weeki Wachee mermaid has to descend about 30 feet through ’the tube’ to begin each show. The mermaid brings an air hose and a lot of moxie to the chilly (72 degrees year-round) water, where performances are held in the underwater theater daily.
