Drissa Kone (bafo - first Djembe), Madou Jakite (Dundun), Sedou Balo (denfo - second Djembe), Antoine (Konkoni) and a fantastic unknown Tamani Player. Recorded in Bamako, January 2008 by Gerhard Kero & Ulli Sanou (beatfactory). Dance of the leatherworkers Garanke, which used to be played by Tamanis (hourglass-shaped talking-drums) from Westmalian Griots. In the 1950s Garankedon was transferred to the Dundun and thus integrated into the festive musik repertoir of Bamako.
