Incredible fiddle-only ’The Star-Spangled Banner’ by War Hippies

“The Star-Spangled Banner“ is the national anthem of the United States. Francis Scott Key wrote the lyrics in 1814 after witnessing the British bombardment of Fort McHenry during the War of 1812. The lyrics were set to the tune of a popular British song called “To Anacreon in Heaven.“ It became a well-known patriotic song and was officially recognized as the national anthem in 1931 by a resolution passed by the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Herbert Hoover. @warhippies performed this rendition live at the Rebel Ranch Studios in Ashland City, TN --30 minutes outside of downtown Nashville. US Army combat veteran Donnie Reis leads the performance on fiddle while Marine Corps. combat veteran @ScooterBrownBand stands proudly with his hand over his heart. 🔔Subscribe and turn on notifications!🔔 New Music Weekly! ---------- WATCH MORE VIDEOS Stars and Stripes Sessions: Fireside Sessions: Church Sessions: George Jones Sessions: HQ Sessions: Bluestone Sessions: Skyline Sessions: Country Rebel Website: Country Rebel Facebook: Country Rebel Instagram: Country Rebel Twitter: #countryrebel #acoustic #countrymusic #warhippies #starspangledbanner
