Many-scaled anole (Anolis polylepis) from Gulf of Dulce, Costa Rica.

Some anoles shed their skin as often as once a month, some only once a year.
After shedding, this lizard is seen eating its old skin for the nutrient value.
It then display its orange-yellow dewlap and bob its head to attract a partner.

Its toes are covered with nanoscopic structures allow it to cling to various surfaces using the van der Waals force.
Also called the Golfo-Dulce anole as it is endemic to the Gulf of Dulce area of Costa Rica.
