This video is from my recent trip to central Mozambique. The baboon’s name is Amigo and he is a baby Chacma Baboon. He is about 6 months old in this video. The leash was a temporary necessity so he didn’t get himself into trouble. He was orphaned and while he is currently being kept as a pet, the long term goal is to reintroduce him to the wild.
