Recent news reports have revealed that school districts around the country from Pennsylvania to Washington State are canceling Halloween celebrations and activities out of concern that the holiday is not “inclusive.” Many parents have expressed displeasure with the moves, however, wondering if these expressions of “sensitivity” are more like wokeness run amok and just the latest step toward the eventual elimination of harmless traditions in the name of not offending.
