Lenin: An Appeal to the Red Army, audio, . Sources. 1. “An Appeal to the Red Army”, a speech by Vladimir Lenin (1919). 2. Henry Purcell (1679—1695): Dido’s Lament from “Dido and Aeneas”, act 3 (1689). Lenin’s voice is the only source of the sound material. The music has been written at the suggestion of Dmitriy Nikolaev to the centenary of Russian Revolution. Also the piece was Russian donation to Arts Birthday 2018—the event of Ars Acustica group of European Broadcasting Union.
