Italy’s Apulia decked up for G7 summit, PM Modi to depart for conference today

Italy is all set to host the 50th G7 Summit in Apulia, an informal grouping of seven of the world’s advanced economies. G7 countries include Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union. Italy’s Apulia decked up for the G7 summit, which scheduled to be held from June 13 to June 15. Italian PM Giorgia Meloni has invited PM Modi to the G7 Outreach Summit in Puglia on June 14. In this regard, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to leave for Italy on June 13 to participate in the Summit. Notably, this will mark Modi’s first overseas travel after assuming office in his third consecutive term as Prime Minister. During the Summit, PM Modi is also expected to hold a bilateral meeting with Giorgia Meloni. Also, PM Modi will hold bilateral meetings with the G7 leaders on the sidelines of the Summit.
