Dino Solera: Classically Dino Solera [Full Album + Bonus] (1977)

Italian Woodwind player Giuseppe ’Dino’ Solera can be heard on so many Munich-produced albums by Giorgio Moroder, Donna Summer, Roberta Kelly, Munich Machine, Boney M., Sister Sledge, Queen, and Milli Vanilli. In 1976 he debuted in his own name with a discofied version of Beethoven’s Für Elise on the American Hidden Sign label. It did enough for Moroder to record a full album with him in March 1977 including a remixed version of Elise plus a few other classical remakes as well as some Solera-penned originals. Strangely, Moroder’s Oasis-label never issued any singles from the album. The album did not sell many copies but it is an enjoyable listen for any Munich-disco fan. The original LP had a short reprise of Elise - I have substituted with the original 1976 12“ version. 00:00 Classically Elise 05:17 Suite Concerto 10:23 Easy Feelin’ 15:00 Theme For A Dream 21:04 Lovely Sax 24:30 Beautiful Ros’ 29:10 Classically Elise (Original 1976 12“ M
