Zero waste “almost” empty peanut butter jar #shorts
Stop throwing your empty peanut butter jar and instead make this delicious zero waste peanut butter sauce in just a few minutes!
We used a few leftover vegetables in the fridge to make the filling for these crunchy spring rolls.
RECIPE:
•2 tbsp x leftover peanut butter from jar
•3 tbsp x lime juice
•1 teasp x rice vinegar
•1 teasp x soy sauce
•2 tbsp x maple syrup
•1 tbsp x sesame oil
•optional (add some spoons of water to make your sauce thinner)
Combine 3 tbsp lime juice, 1 tsp rice vinegar, 1 tsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp maple syrup, and 1 tbsp sesame oil in the jar.
Close the lid tightly and shake well until fully mixed. If needed, immerse half the jar in warm water to melt the peanut butter, then shake again.
Let it sit for a few minutes; it will thicken. For a thinner sauce, add a few teaspoons of water at a time until you reach your desired texture.
Store in an airtight container for a week or more
