Giant lava flow spills over Geldingadalur valley. Lava originates from “under the crust of cooled lava“ south of crater. Volcano is full of magma, sometimes it shoots magma above its rims. Lava exits volcano through underground lava network and shows up in various locations around the volcano. Today we completed trip no. 41.
