Taking the Durango-Silverton Trail to Weminuche.

We had decided to access the trail head into the Weminuche by using the Durango-Silverton Train. This is an excellent service. At the time we used it, the price was about $70 per person. They drop you off and then--at any time thereafter--pick you up. We did a very long loop backpack and had filled out a schedule so that they knew when, and where to expect us.
