🎃Here are our amazing carved pumpkins from yesterday

🎃Dear parents, here are our amazing carved pumpkins from yesterday, along with steps you can follow to carve your own and a story about the origins of Jack-O’-Lanterns🍂 As we carve our pumpkin masterpieces for Halloween, it’s fascinating to uncover the centuries-old origins of the beloved Jack-O’-Lantern. 🌟 Believe it or not, this tradition traces back to Irish folklore. The legend tells of a man named Stingy Jack who was a notorious trickster. When he passed away, he couldn’t enter heaven or hell. Instead, he roamed the dark with only a glowing coal inside a hollowed-out turnip to light his way. 🌌 When Irish immigrants arrived in America, they found pumpkins to be more abundant than turnips, and thus, the Jack-O’-Lantern as we know it was born. 🇮🇪🇺🇸 So, as we illuminate our pumpkin pals, we’re also keeping a piece of history alive, celebrating the spooky season with a nod to ancient customs. 🎃✨ “🎃 Easy Steps to Carve a Pumpkin 🌟 1️⃣ Choose the perfect pumpkin: Find a plump, symmetrical pumpkin with a flat base. 2️⃣ Cut the lid: Using a serrated knife, carefully cut around the stem at an angle. 3️⃣ Scoop out the insides: Use a large spoon to remove the seeds and stringy bits. 4️⃣ Design your face: Draw your design with a marker directly onto the pumpkin. 5️⃣ Carve the face: Using a pumpkin carving kit or serrated knife, follow your design lines to cut out the features. 6️⃣ Illuminate: Place a tealight or battery-operated candle inside for a warm, spooky glow. 7️⃣ Lid back on: Set the lid at a slight angle to allow heat to escape. 8️⃣ Display: Show off your masterpiece on your porch or window, and enjoy the Halloween spirit! 🕯️🎉 We have finalized our spooky month of October and we’re ready for our fall theme!
