Upwork Fees for Freelancers: NEW LOW Service FEES for Freelancers (10%)

Upwork fees will be reduced to a flat fee of 10% starting in May for all freelancers. This is GREAT news for new freelancers and people starting new contracts. However, it isn’t great news for freelancers that have built up a long relationship with clients and are used to 5% fees. I will discuss the pros and cons of the new Upwork fee structure in this video. If you aren’t familiar with Upwork, it is a great platform to sell freelancing skills and apply to jobs online. You can also use Upwork to order freelancing services for your business. I am a top-rated freelancer on Upwork and have earned over $90,000 since I started selling my services on Upwork. This has led to me building relationships with different clients, so I will be experiencing a pay cut with some of my job contracts. However, this is great news for any new jobs I take on.
