Prairie falcons hunting Mallards compilation. SLOW MOTION STUDY..

Every winter, after the complete freeze up, literally thousands of mallards will gather around farm lands foraging on spilled grain after the harvest. Massive numbers of ducks will swarm around the sky looking for a safe place to land, feed and roost. Without exception these swarms will attract local raptors like Eagles, Gyrfalcons and Priaire falcons in Alberta. In this video I have only gathered and edited some of the incredible priaire falcon clips that was provided by Jon Groves () .
