Jon McCormack: Real/Material/Ethereal

Professor Jon McCormack is the founder and director of SensiLab, a creative technologies research space that connects different disciplines together to explore the untapped potential of technology. His research spans multiple disciplines, including design, art and computer science. Jon was one of the diverse group of extremely talented researchers, designers and artists who presented at the 2nd Annual Design Research Conference, 3 & 4 October 2019 at Monash University, Melbourne. The conference explored the developing role of design research in both academia and practice, to encourage dialogue between academic researchers and practitioners, and to act as an experimental platform to test and evolve new modes of disseminating design research.
