A remote camera operator noticed a head. It was the head of this beautiful Gyrfalcon. We notified another camop to have the camera moved to we could watch this beauty. The bird is on part of the structure that holds a variety of equipment, one happens to be a remote camera that is used to watch the skies for the Northern Lights.
Gyrfalcon hung around for about 12 minutes before he/she had to fly off.
