Van’s RV-12 Build: Wings Attachment

The removable wings on the Van’s RV-12 E-LSA are convenient for storage and for hauling the airplane in a trailer, and two people can take them off and get them back on in short order. But it’s critical to get a good fit during the build process, which is just what the build team at EAA Chapter 166 is doing with its RV-12. In this RV-12 build video, EAA 166 build project lead Rick Montero and chapter member Larry Anglisano take a close look at how it’s done, while also addressing the challenges of assembling the airplane in a limited work space.
