💜 This video is from when BTS performed at the 25th-anniversary concert for Seo Taiji, a revolutionary Korean music legend from the 90′s. BTS served as backup vocalists and dancers for eight songs of the concert, replacing Yang Hyun Suk and Lee Juno as Seo’s Boys for the night. Full Concert - SEOTAIJI 25 TIME : TRAVELER - feat BTS: “Come Back Home,“ was inspired by Seo Taiji very own experience. He has stated in an interview, “When I was young I ran away from home a lot. I made the song from my own experiences. While I was out, I went through a lot of trouble, did a lot of hard work, and learned a lot. But in the end, our parents are always worried about us. It’s about how you can achieve your dreams in your own home.“ Dance practice: Celebrating the Seo Taiji and Boys’ 25th anniversary BTS remade “Come Back Home“, reflecting a similar sentiment to the societal change that Seo argued for in his songs. This was the first official remake of the song since its release in 1995. You can watch it here: Seo Taiji & Boys was a South Korean boy band during the years 1992-1996. They were very successful and they changed the South Korean music industry by pioneering the use of rap in Korean popular music and utilizing social critique, despite pressure from ethics and censorship committees.
