[TPR-0025] The Picket Guard by Ethyl Lynn Beers

Probably the most famous Victorian poem by Ethyl Lynn Beers, The Picket Guard was originally published in Harper’s Weekly in 1861. In 1863, the poem was turned into a song by John Hill Hewitt. This may have inspired the title of the English translation of “All Quiet on the Western Front.“ - - - - - - - Toss a few doubloons our way!
