Paramotor Crash ALMOST Ended My Life

Time stamp: 00:00-Intro 00:40- Causation 02:19- Intended Intro 03:16- Take off 03:45- Crash Cam 1 04:01- Crash Cam 2 04:20- Crash Cam 3 04:45- “Hey Siri, call 911!“ 05:30- “I crashed my flying machine.“ 06:35- Good samaritan arrives 07:43- “Did you break your arm?“ 08:00 “I need to call my wife.“ 08:20- Second good samaritan arrives and moves paramotor 08:50- Dispatch requests to speak to good samaritan 09:19- GS “My friends are coming.“ 10:37- “Oh f*** my arm is totally snapped.“/ GS “The ambulance is on their way.“ 11:05- “Can I call my wife?“ “No sir, I need you to stay on the line with me.“ 12:10- “What’s a paramotor?“/ “It’s a backpack flying machine.“ 13:47- “Is there any serious bleeding, sir?“ WRONG. 14:27- “Other than your arm, is there another part of your body that is injured?“ / “I don’t think so.“ WRONG. 14:46- “Do not move!“ 15:36- Phone call to my wife 16:06- “Fire Department is getting here.“ 16:14- Breaking the news to my wife 17:15- “What do you mean don’t worry!?“ 17:38- “Is this the first time this happened to you?“ / “Yes, of course.“ 18:38- Fire Department arrive on scene 19:53- “I can see your arm is obviously deformed.“ 20:11- “Do you think I’ll be fine?“ 20:23- Wife arrives on scene / “Do you know him ma’am? / “That’s my husband!“ 21:16- “What’s your name, sir?“ / “I’m Howard Hughes, the Aviator.“ 21:33- “Where at?“ / “Probably wherever the deformity is.“ 21:40- Splinting 21:51- Wife thanks good samaritan “Thank you so much.“ 22:00- FD “Considering you fell out of the sky, you’re doing pretty good“ 22:19- Lifted off the ground on stretcher My husband Anthony’s glider collapsed while flying between 85 - 100 ft AGL. He suffered multiple serious injuries (fractured neck, back , pelvis and shattered right arm). All injuries listed required surgery. It has been the most challenging couple days for him but in true Anthony fashion, he continues to smile and make those around him laugh. He was very excited to go flying that morning to test out a new camera and glider, Insta360 X4 and the BGD Luna 3.
