Scooters In The Ozarks 2022: Days 5-7 // Motocamping in the Ozarks

Welcome back to our scooter road trip to the Ozarks! We left our campsite at the racetrack in Pevely toward Arkansas to motocamp for a couple of days on our return trip to Texas. We stayed at a couple of very nice campgrounds along the way and rode fantastic roads in the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains. Skip around with the chapter markers below. Join this channel to get access to perks: We certainly had our share of mechanical problems during this trip. Adrian’s PCX150 shredded two CVT belts on the way out of Houston. We resolved that problem by replacing the NCY variator with the original Honda unit. His scooter was also steadily consuming oil, so we’ll need to investigate that issue before the Scooter Cannonball Run next year. I nearly made it home unscathed, but some nails on the highway had other plans for me. I ran over a patch of nails on Beltway-8 that flattened my rear tire. I patched the rear tire
